Well, I'm ready to admit that I actually liked this book. I went in thinking that I probably wouldn't, and part of me really didn't want to like it if only to not become one of the masses. But, I liked it. Was it the best writing? It's probably safe to say no. Did Bella's constant descriptions of Edward's beauty get a bit repetitios? Without a doubt. But I could not seem to put the book down, would get irritated when someone interrpted my reading and had to go out the day after I finished it to buy New Moon. All pretty good indictaors of a good book to me. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the vampire genre. I think I was in love with Lestat for several years after reading "The Vampire Lestat". Regardless, I have become yet another Twighlight fan and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
