I'm a huge fan of this series and this book did not disappoint. I've enjoyed reading about Daniel in every previous book and I was anxiously awaiting his story - and I was nervous that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. But I was wrong - it was a lovely read. I really enjoyed Violet and the relationship between the two. It was also nice to revisit the rest of the family. The ending denouement with Violet was a bit strange for me though...not to give spoilers but that last bit in Paris was surreal for me and took me out of the story for a bit. I hope we get to jump into the future and see what happens with some of the younger generation. Now I really want to go back and start the series again!
