It took me three tries to finally complete this book. Once I learned that I needed an index card to keep the characters straight, the book was much easier to read. I thought I would like it more than I did - and it really might be because the translation I have was probably crap, but it was okay. I would recommend it to someone with a lot of patience (and I have none). Clearly an intersting book - just loooooooooong.
