Son derece temel.
I enjoyed all the actual "food" parts of this book: detailed descriptions of perfect ravioli, vinaigrette, and roasted lamb. But so much of this disjointed memoir is about Hamilton's family, and her husband, and a lot of humblebragging about how cool and smart she is, and that's why she's so hard on herself, but also why we'll never be as cool as her. The last section becomes a little more relatable, but mostly I feel really lazy after spending so much time in her head.
I liked this book, but it was substantially harder to get through than some of his other work. It just wasn't as enjoyable to read as other books on Buddhism I've read. Overall, though, I really like Thich Nhat Hanh's approach to Buddhism and his zen teachings.
