A beautifully understated book about a young woman embarking on her life. I read it in a couple of days and even woke up in the middle of the night to read it. It will stay with you for sometime.
pretty good
This book is no masterpiece, but it's clever enough that I wish I read Swedish. My main complaint with the series is that Larsson seems not to have developed enough familiarity with computer security. He's not terrible, but some things are pretty infeasible. He makes it seem so easy to break and enter -- and yes, Salander is an expert, but even an expert has to do certain things. So, A+ for suspense, but B- for research.
I loved most of this book. Fun, engaging but in the end I think I preferred the paper girl myself. Clever book.
