This book was okay. I didn't like how they shoved religion down the main character's throat. I felt that they were not normal people living their religion, but that they were making a point to show it at every point! I did like the love story
This is a pretty affecting tale of the plague, as told through the experiences of one woman who survived the near obliteration of her town. Apparently it's based on actual events. What a terrible time that must have been, given the near total lack of knowledge about what the plague actually was.
