This book was amazing. It was about a smart pretty girl who was the theater manager and wanted to stand out for herself. As the smart girl she was geeks followed her there were three geeks that followed her everywhere. She likes this guy Cameron who is popular but as they start going out she realizes he was a geek. Instead she liked another guy called Robbie but he liked this other popular girl.In the end Robbie and Kj stay together. But they go through a lot.

I really wanted to read this after reading Blood and Gold and being introduced to Akasha in that novel. Admittedly, I went out of order here because I still have not received Interview with the Vampire from my local library and my due date on the first two is coming up in a couple of weeks. I have to say that I I was mildly disappointed in this book. Akasha's character is believable as a total nut job but at the same time, unbelievable as a legit queen of vampires. Maharet was more believable and useful as a possible queen. The book was a lot more descriptive then the movie (which was horrid in my opinion). I am looking forward to more Anne Rice books in the future though. Pandora and Vittorio the Vampire are on my list as well. Not a bad novel, but I do not think this was one of Anne's best. I only gave this one 2/5 stars. I am thinking of re-reading again at a later date though.
