liked this book... find this time in history interesting! Story was kind of sad, but still enjoyed the book
I thoroughly enjoyed the continuation of The Daughters of Saraqael series by completing Central, book two. Thomas subtly describes the main character Olivia as being timid, non-athletic and a little insecure. It was refreshing as a reader to champion for her knowing she was a bit of an underdog compared to the first heroine Amber in Becoming (book one). I felt myself cheering for Olivia as she grew not only in her mental characteristics but as she learned to push herself through difficult situations both through inner strength and the bond between her siblings as well. The relationship with her assigned Gloresti (guardian) James was thrilling to experience and brought memories flooding back to young sentiments and adolescent behaviors encapsulating the innocence of youthful emotions sometimes overshadowed in today’s society. I have solidified my status as curious reader to rabid Estilorian fan and will be reading the third book Foretold. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
