this one is actually quite good...
Vivid, wonderful, brilliant, detailed, vibrant. I really love this book!
This 4th book in the New York City series is fantastic! I didn't want it to end. I think this the best stand-alone book of the four. The plot is exciting, and the characters are well developed. That being said though, since I've read the other three books this summer, I especially liked when Josh, after his mother's funeral, wanders through the cemetery and views the graves of characters from previous books. I was fascinated by the description of the Carolina Clock. I would love to know if it is based on a real clock.
Beautifully written; an essential for any California girl. Pair with whiskey or cheap wine. Setting: large and fertile plots of land. Dress code: sturdy overalls, a shirt unbuttoned at the neck.
It just wasn't happening for me. No particular reason. Just didn't care for it.
Fantastic book. I wish I'd heard this when I was little. Amazing pictures, amazing story, equally amazing via audio tape.
