I really like Philippa Gregory's historical fiction books, and this one was no different. This one reveals the sad truth of just how embroiled the Brits were in the slave trade. With some interesting characters, and although a perhaps unsurprising romantic liaison, it was still a great read that transported me to a different time & place.
