Excellent read!
I read this in grad school and it really changed the way I approached books as well. It takes some of the "mystery" of the text and teaches the reader how to glean and gather the information in an efficient way. Frankly, some books have alot of fluff and others repeat themselves alot. Truly, good books are read cover to cover, but for so many other books out there, it's nice to know how to get the most out of a book in an efficient manner. This book does an excellent job of getting the reader to learn to engage in a dynamic process with any book they read.
