I found this book slow. There is no climax as it is simply the story of a poor girl growing up in the 1920's. She and her mother and brother must carry on once their good hearted, but drunk father dies. It is a growing up tale.
Très bon moment! Par contre, j'avais envie de taper Dale quelques fois et j'ai ressenti beaucoup de peine pour Lauren.
