Very compelling narrative. I read it after reading some praise about it in a Financial Times review. The book is about what happens when the internet is implanted in one's brain. It took over my life for one weekend while vactioning; it was pretty perfect context to read it in. Occassionally, Air veers towards shallowness rather than complexity, and aside from a bizzar-o david lynch type ending, the only problem I had was the messiah quality to the protagonist. In the end, though, this is easily one of the better books I've read this year.
