This took me over a year to complete. I had trouble getting into it. I think there just wasn't that initial grab for me to keep me going. I may or may not read on in the series since I have a tendency to like things much more as the go along. I was actually surprised when there was a supernatural turn in the story. I didn't see that coming in this for some reason. I guess I was just expecting a Dexter style book.
The story was excellent. However, it dragged at points and there were somewhat odd sexual happenings and such that didn't seem to fit or be necessary.
