Something like a comic book in prose form, Hounded was just good enough to keep reading. If you've read any of Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden books, this is almost exactly the same -- only instead of Dresden being the only working wizard in Chicago, this series features the only living Druid, in New Mexico. Light-weight and fun if you want to read something in order not to think. Not really recommendable, unless you're already a rabid urban fantasy fan.
