Amazing. This is my favorite Dan Brown book - by a mile. It is the prequel to The DaVinci Code, introducing Robert Langdon as the main character. Based on the concept that the Church housed extremists named the Illuminati, without their knowledge. The Pope is murdered and the church is left without a follower. Dan Brown is an amazing writer and this book truly follows suit.
