It took me awhile to get into, but this turned into a really good detective book. I'm excited to read the next one in the series!

I first looked at this book and its reviews after finishing Perfect Chemistry and Rules of Attraction I liked Simone Elkeles and I knew I wanted more. Reviews about these books made me not really want to read them. Reviews that Amy was annoying really turned me away from wanting to start these books. All I can say is that im glad that I changed my mind. These books were really good. I learned alot about Jewish culture and living situations in Israel. Amy can get a little annoying at times but i cant really blame her because of how she was raised. I don't know what it would be like in that sort of situation with parents that were never together and never really tried. If you liked Rules of Attraction and Perfect Chemistry, you will like this series.

I cannot remember how many times I reread this book; it was many. I also enjoyed Living Free and Forever Free although not quite as much, but it would have been impossible for me to not read those sequels as I would have been painfully curious about how the story continues. I’ve cried a lot each time I’ve read it because the book is so emotionally moving. The story of Elsa the lioness and her humans and Kenya was completely engrossing. I read it first when I was about 12 and it got me interested in Africa and conservation. And lions. Adamson does a terrific job of telling a very personal story and also educating about the bigger picture. A captivating read.

What’s a secret don’t really stay a secret once people find out. Well a girl in the book Secret Society finds that out in this book. This book ad a lot going on like lies being told, secrets about sex and the drama is crazy. Some girls named Celess and Tina would tell lies left and right. They would tell men that they were woman when they are really men. The two girls (men) would also lie about what they do for a living and anything else they can lie about. They had so many secrets that people didn’t really no what to believe. Celess and Tina would have sex with other men but the way they would have sex he men wouldn’t never know nothing. They would be only ones to know. The drama would be very crazy. After awhile one of the men end up finding out there secret. He had stop messing with Celess and told his friend who messed with Tina. The guy who was messing with Tina ends up going to jail then he got out and shot both of the girls. Tina ends up dieing. When people find out about your secrets you don’t know what they would do. I really enjoyed reading the book. The lies were crazy. The sex was out of control and the drama was undefined. Pick up Secret Society you will like it.
