Stopped reading this one. Nothing in the description led me to believe this book would be about war atrocities against children! It sucked me in at the beginning, reluctantly, being about a woman going to Sarajevo to restore an ancient manuscript. With some depressing parts; it's war-time Sarajevo. Then we go off in a seemingly random direction for no readily apparent reason. I assume it would become apparent if I kept reading, but I have plenty of other books asking for my time. I already whole-heartedly agree that war is bad, Nazis were bad, persecution because of one's religion or ethnicity is bad. Moving on.
