Lahiri'yi inanılmaz bir yazar olarak görüyorum ve bu kitap bir istisna değil. Yaşamadığım ama yazı sayesinde kolayca hissedilebilecek bir hikaye. Nadiren birden fazla kitap okuyorum ama bunu tekrar okumaktan çekinmem. Kitabın hızlı tempolu ve heyecan verici olduğunu söyleyemem ama bütün okuma materyallerimde bunu aramıyorum. Hikayeyi ilgi çekici ve karakterleri ilginç buldum.
An excellent story...regardless of who is telling it. I think Dave Eggers has written better books, and has shown better writing than in this book. However, the story is so amazing and since its (almost) true, I think this is a book everyone should read. Plus, the profits go to a good cause. So go buy a copy.
It was a good, fast summer read.
