I had only one train of thought going through my head when I finished this book "WHAT A SELF CENTERED EGOTISTICAL JERK? HOW COULD HE DO THAT? WHY? WHY WHY WHY? I'M SERIOUSLY GOING TO KILL THE @#$!@$*)!!! IF I SO BADLY DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT I WOULD BOYCOTT THIS SERIES! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Having given myself a few days to calm down... well. That hasn't changed much. But I'm in a better position now to rave about the amaznigness of this book. I mean, love as a disease? Can you imagine? On an awesomeness scale of one to ten... it exceeds the scale. That concept is absolutely AMAZING! And what's more, the writing doesn't ruin the concept *cough*Firelight and Matched*cough*. In fact, the writing was exquisite. Seriously. Words can't describe- you just have to read it. The characters. The change that they went through in the book was believeable and wonderful. Not to mention the fact that they had actual personalities! SHOCK HORRORR! I also loved some of the side charcters, Gracie in particular. I also loved Lena and Alex as a couple. They just complemented each other perfectly. Definitely my favourite of the dystopian genre so far!!!! (excluding Hunger Games, of course. No one can outshine Gale for me... Sorry) Just.... That ending...
