This was my first novel by Jennifer Armintrout and I would read another by her. The book was given to me by my friend. Nothing was given away too soon. The building of the story kept me there till the end.
OK...after 16 books this series is getting a little bit tired. Vampire mind games, blah, blah, blah, sexcapades, blah, blah, blah, were-animals, blah, blah, blah, torture, blah, blah, blah. I keep reading because I've read the other 15 books (OK, may have skipped one or two), but I'm not sure how much longer this series can keep going. I much prefer her Meredith Gentry series, which seems to have completed a story arc after about 7 (?) books. Or, I may just go back and read the Anita Blake series from the beginning. The first books are the freshest, most fun, and most original. If you want to try a different, but related, series altogether, head over to the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris.
A candid look at what happens to bodies that were donated to science. If you are considering this option for your remains, maybe you shouldn't read this one. It's not all surgery practice and glammour. I know my corpse would end up at the body farm rife with maggots. But hey, it is in Tennesse, that's a plus. * Not for those grossed out easily.
