I really want to read "The Road," but after my struggle with this book, I'm not so sure I'm ready for more Cormac McCarthy ... I had massive trouble keeping focused on the plot, could never understand who was talking, and cursed my limited knowledge of Spanish (I know "Ola," "Gracias," and "Pelligro!" and that's about it) when McCarthy decided it would be fun to have lots of untranslated dialogue. And what was the point of it all? I think I might have to go back and read this again.
