Just a wonderful story of love, death, and second-hand merchandizing in a world where the forces of darkness lurk in the sewers. One of my favorite parts of the whole story is where the newly appointed assistant Death decides to strike back at the evil sewer harpies (who follow him along the streets and whisper nasty comments through the drains). He lures them to a deserted alley drain, taunts them with a soul-object (the things they sorta eat), then tosses some highly illegal M-80's down the hole. This new fun is interrupted by a police detective and, mistake, tries to tell the truth...
