the country doctor was by far my favorite.
One of the most well-written Teen books that I have read in awhile. Really excellent language. The story involves a garden, a librarian, an old recluse, an art-restorer father, and a girl whose mother has recently died from cancer. There is a mystery involved, but it's a mystery meets smart-modern Teen fiction. Really really good and highly recommended.
