This book posed some very interesting thoughts and made me ask what I would do in this situation.
The Lemonman wants to be apart of a very special community. He invites Professor Celery and Miss Strawberry along for a picnic in the park. On his way he encounters the devious Timmy Pear and the trickster Mr. Cunningham C. Toad. The two cheats, swindle the Lemonman out of his picnic basket filled with treats. Poor, poor Lemonman, he had no idea they were so shifty. Acceptin his loss, he heads to the park to meet with his friends. He tells them his tale and end the end he saves the day... Well of course you are wondering how. You'll have to buy the book to see! Parents, teachers, homeschoolers and kids will love this rhyming tale of friendship and forgiveness. The colorful illustrations will help educate children about strangers and learn forgiveness when someone apologizes for their bad deeds.
I loved this book! Loved the characters and the writing! I had a hard time putting it down!
