I read this a good few years ago as it's the basis for my favourite film Somewhere In Time. It's a little darker and less schmaltzy than the film; but more realistic (if a time-travelling fantasy can be such a thing). I have just remembered it is here at the house I am currently staying at, so I'm going now re-reading it for a Spring Challenge sci-fi/fantasy book. Later I remembered the OTHER books on my list; so read several interviews with Matheson and watched a youTube series of them - the wonders of the internet! Hence this endeavour earned 15 points in the challenge...

NYA Book Club read. This book was absolutely hilarious. I think I laughed out loud in every single chapter. I laughed just reading the description and the back of the book's "reviews" such as.. "Worth it - Trees" and "Delicious - A Guy Who Eats Books". This was a great pick for a book club read and I'm excited to talk about it with everyone! My only complaint is that it was a bit disjointed. Stories flew all over the place and the timeline was very off!

A very different book but kept me reading. I couldn't wait till I found out what happened next. But I do have to say it was very interesting and written very differently. Sometimes it took me a while to figure out what they were talking about but it all came together. Really enjoyed it.
