This is an old Printz honor book that I had never read. A really unique story told from the point of view of a boy with cerebral palsy who everyone thinks has limited intelligence. Turns out he can hear and understand everything that is going on around him with an acute sense of clarity. I hated the ending, but that is because I do not like when the author leaves it "open to interpretation." Just tell me, for pete's sake!!
