This is one of my favorite children's books. I think it has a great message about true family and accepting yourself.
While I was reading it, I couldn't put it down. Now, two years later, I still find it haunting on many levels, from the experiences of the protagonist to how to handle former Nazi spies years later. This one will stay with you for a long time.
