The 6th book in the series answered a lot of questions I had and included another wrenching but not unexpected (to me) death. Continues the story of Harry Potter ages 11-17, 16 in this story, a wizard who has a destiny to fulfill. Beautifully done storytelling with interesting characters, an incredibly detailed alternate/fantasy world, and wonderful messages.
I rather liked the way it was written; slowly leading up to the whole story. I like all of this author's books to one extent or another. I wasn't crazy about any of the characters - they all seemed rather distant and they all had problems but it is probably more true to life than we would like to admit. We all want families to be perfect but they very seldom are. Main characters are a mother and three daughters. I very much wanted to keep reading to find out the whole story. I marked many pages that something that spoke to me. Also would have liked an ending that brought more closure. This was a bookclub pick.
Haduh entah kenapa ya, kok susah payah menyelesaikan buku ini lamaaaa banget padahal bukunya cantik, covernya pink *ga nyambung* sepertinya sih gara2 banyak 'catatan kaki' - jadi konsentrasi pas baca terpecah belah satu-satunya buku bercatatan kaki yang gw suka cuma Barti - malah nunggu2 catatan kakinya hihihihi
