I picked this audiobook up because I saw that it was nominated for an Audie. I tend to like the audiobooks that were nominated for awards so I thought, "what they hey!", and it sounded interesting. The audiobook itself was good. The guy who read it made it enjoyable. Wasn't my favorite, but still good listening. The subject content of the book was a whole different story. I thought it was OK for the most of the book. But then the author just kept annoying me. I noticed how he tried to slip in how he wasn't perfect but I don't think he realized how much he hammered it in. I mean, he kinda came off as a jerk. And the appendix? Wow! Any star rating that I had for the book just went away after that. I have the distinct feeling that the author actually hates people and customers. Almost anything good that he had to say about customers were a result of his actions. For example, the couple that he helped, they were really nice, because he gave them the hook up! Otherwise people were just ungrateful and bad tippers. With all that said, there were some enjoyable parts. You might learn something. I'd say if you get the chance, listen to the audiobook. I know, I know, bad review!
