I can see why people really loved this book and would want to read more books about it. That being said, this was not highly entertaining enough for me to even care about what happens in the next two books. I liked it better than the Thief Lord, which I absolutely loathed, so I don't know if that is saying much. The idea behind the book was really interesting, but it was not interestingly executed.
** spoiler alert ** OMG. I've been saving this book for a bit of a rainy day, and I'm glad. I finished it in a big gobbling rush. I like where this series is going, and cannot wait for the next book. BOOOO WAITING FOR NEXT BOOK! BOO! I'm glad my book had the first chapter of Angel Town. It eased a bit of my OMGWHATHAPPENSNEXT OHHHHH! AIEEEEE! Unlike others, I don't find it odd that Kismet's running around and falling into traps left, right, & centre. I don't think she manages to actually finish a meal in her mad panic. Her perfectly reasonable mad panic to find her true love.
