This book was so very touching and since I have a mother suffering from dementia it was also very personal. I sobbed when I read the book and then again when I saw the movie in the theater. It reminds me of a grown-up fairy tale with a realistic portrayal of true love and the true meaning of the marriage vows.
I'd actually give this two stars, but my three-year-old asked for it four times in a row, so it must be better than I thought. The flow just wasn't there for me: where did the need for Fruity Nut Buffet come from? It wasn't even in the early pictures. And the solution just seemed too easy. But, the wordplay was good.
