I really enjoyed this book. The facts were well presented in an interesting way. The pictures are beautiful and the recipes all sound delicious.
Loved reading this with my two boys! It was really easy to read aloud, especially with a bit of a drawl (wonder if this could be a Forensics piece for middle school... hmmm). Took the kids a bit to understand some of the vocabulary (even with the brilliant introduction). The illustrations are charming and funny too. Great pick from Opa!
This is the book that made me fall in love with Arthurian legends as a child, and no book I've read has ever measured up to it. It's funny and witty, but without being annoying as I usually find British dry humor to be (no offense to anyone meant).
