LOVED IT!!!! Um.... I think I liked it because it was kind of like Ella Enchanted but for young adults. It had the same feel as Ella Enchanted but it was geared toward young adults and I absolutely loved it. It's a good read.
A great little travel narrative if one can overlook some of the dated humor (it was published in 1898, after all!). Most of the humor is still fresh, in any case. Anyone interested in Bill Bryson's work needs to see that Bryson was predated in many ways by Jerome K. Jerome.
