As a child of a parent with an anxiety disorder, I was especially appreciative of this book, but what was wonderful about the story was the humor, the narrator's unique voice, the masterful short chapters, and the way in which the author depicted a somewhat dysfunctional yet ultimately HAPPY family.
Okay, I love this book completely, but DEAN PRIEST IS MY MOST HATED LITERARY CHARACTER AND I HATE HIM SO SO SO SO MUCH OH MY GOD.
