This is the best book in the history of earth! Ok, so like we all know slavery is wrong, but Margeret Mitchell writes so convincingly about how the north/union is wrong about freeing the slaves that you almost start believing that the confederacy was right all along. Of course, once we are away from the book, think about what she was saying. We obviously can't have slaves, but it is still a beautifully written, forever classic book.
James Patterson has mastered the art of the mystery. I like his short chapters and how he slips from first person to third person between chapters. I really like his character Alex Cross. Even his kids and grandmother (Nana Momma - who is a kick in the pants). Very real, very good plots. All around good stories. This one was a bit scary. The plot was so plausible that I had to stop reading at certain parts, or just past them, so I could go to sleep. Good Job James!
