Chipp Kidd's pastiche of Schulz's career is the best out there. The book gives us the art as well as the man.
Simple read intended for youth to better understand the plight of Refugees in the UK. It reminded me so much of the work I did at Refugee Action in "myth-busting" the stereotypes of Refugees. It also included Refugee Council in it quite a bit, which is an organization I just interviewed for. Woooo.
I downloaded this because I wanted something light and fluffy. Well, I'm about 50 pages in and I'm longing for Rob Lowe. So far, it reads like a 6th grade report. I'm hoping it gets better... Alas, it did not get better. Belinda bugs. I don't know how else to put it. I normally love rock star/celebrity bios, but Ms. Mad About You should have gotten herself a ghost writer or her son to help her. I was trying to be empathetic to her issues (spoiler alert - she had a drug problem), but it was not easy. I'm thinking Keith Richards will restore my faith in the rock star bio...
