I liked this one quite a bit.

Everything Matters is dark, but not fatalistic. It has moments of humor and plenty of poignancy, plus a few scenes that are too gripping to put down. Suspension of disbelief is easy to achieve here since the plot is handled so deftly, and that's important considering how ambitious the book seems. The voices of each character read loud and clear, differentiating the chapters in a way that is natural (so you almost don't notice the change in narrator) and also distinctive. Ron Currie takes risks with this book, and nearly all of them succeed spectacularly.
