My niece and nephew really liked this book! They were thoroughly engrossed in the pictures and in the story, and oh, the drama! Would the shark eat the little fish? How would they get him to leave them alone? Why would he chomp a hole in the cover of the book? I checked this one out from the library for them, and the last word was barely out of my mouth before they were asking if they could take the book home and read it. The next morning I was talking to my sister on the phone, and I could hear my little nephew in the background talking to her about the "shark book," so he was still "reading" it and processing it. That shark in the dark scored a very big hit!
