I read this for Bookclub. It was a quick read and kept me guessing all the way to the end but... I really was appalled at the mian character. So sad how one wrong choice can lead to so many more!
Not the finest in the series, but still good. Lots of set up information in this book about what is to come with the others. It also happened to be the time line at the end of the Acheron book, but before the epilogue at the end of Acheron. So, at the end of the day, if you read Acheron, you would know bad things did not happen in this book.
Enjoyed this book. Lots of different story lines, but basically a story about Reggie Chase and her dogged determination to find out what has happened to Dr. Joanna Hunter and the baby (Reggie is the babysitter). Reggie enlists the help of Jackson Brodie, who she rescues from a train accident, in solving the case.
