Am reading in and out of this book in preparation for a film course.
Almost a 5. Great and original story. Great suspense. Didn't quite buy the narrator.
The book starts with a tragic accident and then deals with the lives of those affected. It gets a little tiresome--will Loraine stay in love with Wayne even though he is pushing her away and towards Jake--back and forth. Then another tramatic/dramatic event helps both of them make up their minds. It was an okay read.
My favorite Stephen King book!
This Author really inspires me with her great creativity in writing. This book drew me in more and more as I went through each chapter literly feeding the words into my mind. When I heard about the movie I was there, first in line just waiting for those doors to open with many more people right behind me pretty much breathing down my neck. But anyway, this book i really recomend everyone to read. I know many of you are not a huge vampire lover and neither am I, but this book really has an intresting plot of a story. My bestfreind whitney, recomended me to read this book and to be completely honest I wasnt to thrilled to check it out. But when i sat there and began reading i was immediatly hooked. The thought of a human girl meeting these "Vampires" and falling in love with one of them is something you don't read in stories too often. -Erika
