This book is scary. I appreciated it as a good piece of literature much more after I had finished it and could process it all. As I was reading, I just felt so disturbed. She really doesn't hold back in her imaginings of how wrong things can go and how evil humans can be. It made me fear for the future. It made me feel a lot like the movie "Children of Men" made me feel (if you haven't seen that, I recommend it as well.)
