I didn't like it nearly as much as Garden Spells; however, I did like that she had all new secret tricks and plots up her sleeve. This book was darker & a bit creepy to me as well. I kept wanting Josey to wake up and it took her a while to do so. Sarah is still a pretty enchanting writer and I love how she tells stories, really draws you in to the characters lives.
