I enjoyed this book also but Chains was better. Forge was written by the boy character, Curzon's, point of view instead of the girl. This takes place a Valley Forge at the time the war started to really turn around. Sometimes it's difficult to understand such difficult lives and times. I look forward to the last book in this series and wish it was going to be available soon. I am guessing next year sometime.
I got this book from the author and illustrator who are local people. The illustrations are very colorful, and it's an interesting story.
