Several of the novels Trollope wrote toward the end of his life are pretty forgettable. This is one of them. I might have given it only one star, but I have to save that rating for The Fixed Period, coming up soon.
Despite the written-for-teenagers format that some YA books are written, it was actually enjoyable. I bought this book because I loved the concept. A girl is unfrozen on a futuristic ship that is heading toward a new planet. The girl wakes up and helps the leader of the next generation to find out who has been opening the cyro boxes, killing people. I found the beginning a little confusing, the author was putting out all these ideas about the story, and not really coming to any early conclusion. Although my questions eventually did get answered, it was a little rough start. (view spoiler) Given 4 stars because I love the concept, and I'm actually looking forward to the next book.
