Imaginative, enthralling, and ultimately very moving. For children, or adults who miss being children (read: pretty much everyone).
What great writing! Rachman creates a collection of fascinatingly flawed characters and manages to stun at the end of each chapter. Even when I sensed where he was going, I was still surprised. It was fun to see the different characters come together in subsequent chapters, revealed in different ways as the story progressed. The Imperfectionists is both entertaining and disquieting.
