I liked the book but it could have been cut in half and been better. Next time I'll read the abridged version. But the story was really good.
I love this book! The era once again draws me in. The story is heartbreaking and beautiful. I have added going to see what remaining covered bridges we have left to my "bucket list".
I LOVED this book. Elizabeth Scott's characters are so real and fleshed out, and I loved Abby's story. The revelations about Tess did surprise me, and I do like that all of her books end so ambiguously. However I really wanted closure on this one!
