I really enjoyed this book, despite it being a young adult book with virtually no violence, blood or guts :P I love Aislynn's character - she was strong minded and even though she accepted her fate, wasn't going to just accept it without questioning. She made her fate work for her and got the deal she wanted from it. I was glad she made Keenan work for his desires too! Not many other YA books that I've read seem to have those kind of strong-willed characters. Will definitely read the next one as I want to find out more about Leslie's story - doesn;t sound too happy from the exerpt in the end of this book.
A case of excellent, thorough research combined with a surprising subject. Fast food is so ubiquitous you think you must know all you want to know about it, but there's so much here that astonishes, and the author is a terrific writer.

Didn't like this follow-up as much as FEED - the, obviously necessary, change in narrators really didn't work for me, among other spoiler-ish plot devices. Of course, the cliff hanger ended will undoubtedly force me to read BLACKOUT when it comes out - ha!
This book was really good! It introduces the Spanish language at a young age and throughout the story explains what each word means. Also, the illustrations are well done! Overall great book!
