When I started this book I was reluctant to finish this series because I had been put off by the mediocre "Princeps Fury" but I went ahead and read this book because it is the last in the series. By no means was this a bad book, but the plot was kinda slow and the ending was lackluster. If I had to give a recommendation I would probably just say to finish reading the books so you can get closure, but don't expect a lot. I have read almost all of Butchers book now and I know he can write better than this. It almost seemed like he didn't really want to finish the series but felt like he had an obligation.
