I hope this is the right book. If not it was one by the same title. I didnt get certified. I missed the last 4 classes (the teacher wouldnt let me make up the 4th to last class) and then wouldnt let me continue the class....grr. I HAD to work that day. A students gotta eat??? What an ass.
It's the story of what happens to the father in Little Women while he's away at the war. Graphic depictions of violence. I had the audiobook and really went through it quickly. Made me want to re-read Little Women.
Wasn't sure how much I'd like this when I started it, but loved the last quarter or so of the book... pretty pumped for the next installment now. Full review forthcoming.
